Cydia App For Screen Brightness Adjustment

Cydia Utility For Screen Brightness Adjustment:

For those who use Cydia as a perfect utility for iDevices there is a cool Cydia app for the brightness setting of your device. Generally we all put device's brightness setting on certain level and never change it. But as the day changes; so does the external light. And your device might not look as decent and appealing in night as it would look in the day. If you feel if there was a Cydia app which will automatically change your device's brightness depending upon the sunset and sunlight (based demographics or personal preferences).

That Cydia app is already out and is called as f.lux (don't know how would I pronounce it with a DOT between). This is a cool Cydia app which dims your light at the night-time; so that your eyes are not bombarded with bright light rays. In fact the same utility is available for Windows, Mac and Linux as well. Links for these platforms are available here. This is a very cool utility as you can decrease the burden not only on your eyes; but also your device's battery. Because it dims or halogens the light at the night-time when you need the least light to read your device's screen.

- Let's assume you have a jail-broken device. (If not, you should jailbreak your device first).
- Tap the Cydia icon on your device to open it.
- Now search for "f.lux" on Cydia.
- You should have the search result for same text, click on install to get it on your iDevice.

- This will be it. You can adjust your desired f.lux preferences by going in the setting menu for f.lux. It can automatically detect your location if the location services are enabled. You can also feed manual location for better customization; though in-built location thing is very good.

How to Uninstall F.lux:

The last thing you would like to do is uninstall this great Cydia app. But if you feel you don't want to have this cool app you can uninstall it easily. Go to Cydia and tap on Manage.
